Are we suppose to be digitizing physical materials for our term project? Or is it strictly to be digital materials already to be placed into a database? I just want to make sure so that there isn't more work for the team than is already presented.
I've been an on-again/ off-again LIS student for the past four years and am finally finishing out this fall and spring term of 2009. Woo, finally, especially after balancing grad school with a 11+ year career in book and cafe retail management.
I'm also the proud owner of an BA in Anthropology and Religion, however libraries have always been a love of mine since my undergraduate days doing work study and basically living in the stacks on the weekends, reading, reading, reading. I enjoyed a brief stint as a reference librarian's assistant in the Erie Public library system as well.
I am eying up a position in a seminary library, everywhere, anywhere, but I do find the digital progression of library materials to be fascinating and revolutionary, so my interests in this field often times cause me to run around like a kid in a field chasing butterflies. It's all intensely fascinating to me whether it be d-libraries, info. architecture, or Ambient Findability.

So I looked into Google Chrome...it's not available for mac yet, so I'll have to wait. Lame!
